I'm a Co-Founder, Director, and brand developer of the Jacksonville Bicycle Coalition. I was compelled to help other advocates pioneer progress in what was at the time the third most dangerous city in the nation for pedestrians and cyclists.
We have a variety of accomplishments under our belts, including two high profile PSAs related to pedestrian and cyclist safety, all within the JBC's brand.
BILLBOARDS
With one of the Co-Founders providing copy, and I the visuals, we created a series of billboards for the Clearly Jax 2013 Billboard Contest and they won!
POSTER
I collaborated with several JBC members on a proposal for the City of Jacksonville to install much needed sharrow infrastructure on a dangerous section of Riverside Avenue.
After the city approved, it was only the second installation of sharrows in the city at the time and local motorists largely didn't know what they were. I created posters, info cards and social media PSAs, all funded by the COJ, and distributed city-wide to educate motorists on the purpose of sharrows and how to safely share the road.
